Young teen girls are wondering if they have to have "porn star sex" to make their boyfriends happy. They're confused, scared, and questioning their self-worth. Recently, many women have reported feeling scared during sex. Younger women frequently fail to recognize sexual abuse and don't stand up for themselves in their sexual relationships.

Sex should be treated as a beautiful gift we give and receive, not as a tool of control or a weapon of violence. And no, women do not like being treated with violence. There's a growing movement of women that want to improve upon and enjoy sex built on mutual respect and genuine care.

Real intimacy is built on trust, communication, and mutual respect — the complete opposite of what porn portrays. Seeing through this lie is part of learning to see women, and yourself, clearly.
